How to Use Flash Drive as RAM



If your computer is slow and you can’t use your computer properly, then you can use a removable disc as RAM. USB drive can be used as cache to speed up your computer. You can do this by following some simple steps.

1.      Go to my computer


2.      Right click on the drive and go to ‘Properties’


3.      Click the ‘Ready Boost’ tab on the top


4.      Go to ‘Use this Device’ and move the slider to adjust the amount of RAM required.


5.      Now click Apply and Ok.


6.      Your Removable Drive will now function as RAM.


Tips:

·         It doesn’t work in Windows XP. It works only in Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

·         It works better in Windows 7.
