If you are
trying hard to lose weight for long and you are not getting any result, then
the most probable reason is your slow metabolic rate.
1.
Stop dieting: First of all, leave dieting. If you
continue to diet, you will gain weight and keep it on for life.
Metabolism
is the rate at which body use the calories to produce energy. When people go on
a diet, their metabolism change. Their body recognizes it’s not getting as much
food, as much fuel as it needs. Body start to store the fats for difficult
situations leading to decrease in metabolic rate.
2.
Become active: Sitting in a chair uses up more
energy than lying down. Standing up uses more energy than sitting down. You can
almost double your metabolic rate by being physically active.
·
Use
staircase instead of elevator.
·
Park
your vehicle away from the office and walk the distance.
·
Don’t
use vehicle for covering small distances. Instead use a cycle or walk.
And you can include many more such activities in your daily
routine and increase your metabolism successfully.
3.
Exercise: Whenever I ask people about exercise,
they think about running on a track or sweating in a gym. It’s not like that…
Anything you do that causes
you to breathe more deeply than you normally would or causes your heart rate to
speed up is exercise.
If you can think of any
enjoyable ways to get your heart pumping and breathe more deeply than you
breathe normally, then you have a very easy way of increasing your metabolism.
If you can’t take out extra
time for exercise then don’t worry. You already exercise, by getting up from
the bed in the morning, moving around the house. The thing is you already
exercise all day every day, simply by moving your body.
THE KEY TO SUPERCHARGE YOUR METABOLISM IS TO MOVE MORE THAN YOU ARE
CURRENTLY DOING.
4.
Drink Water: Water is required for almost all the processes
taking place in the body. Less water concentration in the body can reduce
metabolic rate.
5.
Build Muscles: Weight training boost the metabolism.
A body with more muscle will burn more calories than a body with fat. So,
incorporate weight training in your exercise routine.
6.
Cardio exercise: Cardio helps to increase the heart
rate which helps to increase metabolism. You can know about the best cardio exercises here.
Thanks for the great tips. These helped me a lot. :)
