Excess Cardio makes you gain weight


Yes, it’s true. Too much Cardio makes you fat. What makes you lose weight is the combination of cardio, weight training and proper diet. Weight training is as important as cardio.

1.      When we do cardio, we use a lot of energy. Now, our body needs energy. The lean muscle mass is consumed by the body. Body literally eats itself to generate the energy required.

2.      In this way you are not losing right kind of weight. Lean muscles are required for burning calories. They control the metabolism in a way.

3.      Too much cardio increases stress harmones. Stress hormones make you insulin resistant and leads to over eating as well as eating the wrong things.
