Cardio is one of the best thing you can do for losing weight or for getting good health. It increases the heart rate and therefore, helps in increasing the metabolic rate. Here are some of the best exercises for losing weight.

1.      Running: It is one of the best exercise as it needs no equipment except shoes. It gets your heart rate up more quickly. You can do it anytime, anywhere. You can burn more calories if you include hills and sprints.

2.      Bicycling: It’s one of my favourite. I have lost lots of weight by cycling. You can enjoy this and you can easily incorporate it in your daily life. You can ride to and from work. It burn calories faster and is good for joints.

3.      Swimming: It is another great choice. It is a full body exercise. The more parts you include in exercise, the more calories you will burn. There are less chance of injuries. It is also a fun activity and increases the height.

4.      Walking:  It is also a good thing to do. You don’t require any equipment for this and you can do this anytime, anywhere. It doesn’t increase the heart rate easily as it is a low impact exercise. Adding hills and speed-walking can give you desired results.

5.      Jumping Rope: It is one of the best exercise. You can easily carry jumping rope anywhere making it an excellent travel exercise. You can easily burn calories by jumping rope. Jump rope while talking small rests in between.

6.      Elliptical trainer: After treadmill, it is the most popular cardio machine in the gym. It moves your body in the natural way without the impact of treadmill. You can also move in backward direction adding variety to your workout.
