Sleeping Less makes you Fat


If you are sleeping for 7 hours or less, then you are sleeping less. If you will sleep less then you will face trouble in losing weight. Researchers have found that women who reported slepp problems were more likely to experience a major weight gain. If you sleep less, then following things generally happen.





1.      You burn less: When a person is sleep deprived, the general energy expenditure is decreased by 5% than when a person got a good night’s sleep.

2.      You eat more: People generally tend to eat more the next day when they are sleep deprived. People increase their nighttime snacking and are more likely to chose high-carbohydrate snacks. Therefore increasing their weight.

3.      Lack of energy: If you sleep less, then you feel tiered. There is lack of energy and in this case, people generally avoid doing exercise and gain weight. Their metabolic rate also decrease.

4.      Poor food choices: People tend to eat high calorie food when they don’t sleep properly. They continue to eat when they are full leading to increase in the weight,
