Top 5 most expensive cars

The 1931 Bugatti Royale Kellner Coupe was sold for $8.7 million in 1987. That and many others won’t be included in this list, they are no longer available in the market. Here are 10 of the most expensive street legal production cars on the market (at least 2 available); concept cars are not included.

1. Lamborghini Veneno


  • Price: $ 3.9 million.
  • Maximum Speed: 221mph.
  • 0-60mph: 2.8 seconds.
  • Horsepower: 750 HP.
Lamborghini’s habit of producing jaw-dropping supercars both in price and appearance is renowned the world over. The name Veneno is derived from the bull-fighting arena. Veneno is an apt name for the vehicle as it represents one of the most aggressive and strongest of bulls. It is a 50th anniversary model.Only three cars are being made available every year. If you want to own this hyper-supercar, you will have to be placed on a waiting list along with other aficionados.

2.W Motors Lykan Hypersport


  •  Price: $ 3.4 million.
  •  Maximum Speed: 245 mph.
  • 0-60mph: 2.7 seconds.
  • Horsrpower: 750 HP.
We still don’t know a whole lot about the Lykan Hypersport, and official figures have yet to be released or verified but we do know the Middle East’s first supercar is set to sell for $3.4M, feature a turbocharged six-cylinder engine, a top speed of 245 mph, and a 0-60 time of 2.7 seconds.Well if that’s not enough to get your majesty excited, the Lykan will feature diamond-coated LED lights, gold-stitched leather seats, and a holographic interface, making it the first car ever to sport such a display.

3.Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse


  •  Price: $ 2.6 million.
  • Maximum Speed: 254 mph.
  • 0-60 mph: 2.6 seconds.
  • Horsepower: 1,200 HP.
The French-made hypercar is rocketed along by a 7.9-liter W16 engine that belts out 1,200 hp and 1,106 lb-ft of torque. The car can sprint to 60 from a standstill in 2.6 seconds and currently holds the record as the fastest open-top convertible with a top speed of 254 mph. It’s brother, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport remains the faster production car in the world with a top speed of 268 mph and can be had for a “only” $2.4M – what a steal!

4. Aston Martin One-77

  • Price: 1.85 million.
  • Maximum Speed: 220 mph.
  • 0-60 mph: 3.4 seconds.
  • Horsepower:750 HP.
This supercar is also constructed to have a stunning exterior design and to deliver a powerful performance just like any other Aston Martin cars. This Aston Martin model is made with a combination of the advanced technology to capture the eyes of the prospective buyers. The production of Aston Martin One-77 is only limited because it is expected that few can afford this expensive car.

 5. Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster


  •  Price: $ 1.8 million.
  • Maximum Speed: 217 mph.
  • 0-60 mph: 3.4 seconds.
  • Horsepower: 678 HP.
Pagani, the Italian super car that relies on Mercedes Benz' power plant manufacturing has recently released another brand new roadster Zonda R version. The introduction of the Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster to the market is well-received, and similar to its coupe sister, Pagani only produced 5 units and was sold at a $1.85 million. It is also patterned after the Modenese Atelier.
