How to get rid of Double Chin

Double chin is a common problem among people. It looks really bad and depending on a person’s genes, losing double chin can be either very easy or very difficult. It is caused because of genes, or poor diet and exercise. This can be reduced without surgery.

1.      Diet: You can lose your double chin by eating less. By limiting your calorie intake, you reduce the amount of fat you store in your body and your face. If you are hungry, then eat fruits, salad and low calorie food.

2.      Proper Posture: Bad posture can also contribute to the loose skin and fat accumulation that leads to a double chin. Whether you’re typing at your computer at work or reading a book in bed, it’s important that you keep your back straight and chin up. Having good posture instantly makes a double chin less visible.

3.      Become Active: Sitting in a chair uses up more energy than lying down. Standing up uses more energy than sitting down. You can almost double your metabolic rate by being physically active.

·         Use staircase instead of elevator.

·         Park your vehicle away from the office and walk the distance.

·         Don’t use vehicle for covering small distances. Instead use a cycle or walk.

And you can include many more such activities in your daily routine and increase your metabolism successfully.

4.      Exercise: Do neck and chin exercises.

·         Pull your head back slightly while standing so your face is tilted toward the ceiling, then try to kiss the ceiling by extending your lips. Hold this pose for five seconds and repeat about five times.

·         Gently and precisely rolling your head side to side and up and down.

·         Third exercise focuses on the platsyma muscle, which runs up your neck and under the chin. For this exercise, open your mouth as wide as you can and then stretch your lower lip over your top row of teeth.
