How to Disable CD Burning

It is really a nice trick. The user can’t burn any CD. This will disable the use of inbuilt CD recording functions of Windows.

1.      Go to start and type “run” in the search box. Open “run”.

2.      Type “regedit”.

3.      Now go to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft>Windows>Current Version>Policies>Explorer

4.      Create new>key.

5.      Rename it as “NoCDBurning”. Now modify it.

6.      Set the value as 1.

7.      Now for executing the change, you have to restart the computer.

8.      To enable burning, simply delete the key you just formed and restart the computer. You can now burn the CD.
